The annual Colt show is a three-day long event with a new location every year to welcome members across the states. Previously, the convention has been in Atlanta, Houston, St. Louis, Hartford, Orange County, Dallas, Portland, San Francisco, Reston, Saint Paul, Austin, Tampa, Kansas City, and Louisville among others. The event is as much a social weekend as it is a gun show. The show features 185 trade tables, of which 40 are display tables.

The convention weekend is like none you have ever experienced. First, this is an ALL COLT CONVENTION. No other weapons are allowed. There will be guns at this convention that may have never been seen before, or collections that have taken a lifetime or even several generations to build. It is not unusual to see historic guns from the Civil War, guns presented by Colonel Samuel Colt, guns that date back as far as 1837, or as new as the 2007’s. As our convention locations change, so do the magnificent displays; allowing many of our members to their collections.

Active collectors and other convention attendees, often times, enjoy sight-seeing and shopping trips during the weekend convention period.
